Grand Hotel: Unique Holiday Getaways in Jerome Arizona

If you are seeking a Romanic getaway, dinner with a view or want to see some ghosts from Christmas past, Jerome Grand Hotel is for you. Jerome Grand Hotel sits on Cleopatra Hill at an elevation of 5,240 feet. It is nestled just above the old mining town of Jerome. The views from the balconies are spectacularly beautiful, in fact the entire town of Jerome is a wonderful place to spend the holidays or any time.

When the Altherr Family purchased the abandoned Jerome Grand Hotel in 1994 they didn't know about the mysterious sightings and strange happening until they started renovating the place. The Spanish Mission style building that became the hotel was constructed in 1926 and was the United Verde Hospital until 1950 when the copper mining operation closed down. The building set unused for 44 year.  Now guest can take a ghost tour and go from floor to floor searching for ghosts using state of the art equipment. Hotel guest can also share their mysterious experiences in a guest book kept in the Lobby.

Comfortable surroundings, great attractions (such as the Mining Museum) shops, galleries and outdoor activities like hiking and the chance of seeing a ghost. What a Holiday Combination!
