The Arizona Celebration of Lights is an amazing light display, featuring over 7,000,000 lights and 300 animated, still displays in Phoenix, Arizona. Guests actually drive a mile through five tunnels to view this beautiful scene. A Christmas Village provides food and various vendors for those who would like to park after the drive, Thursday through Sunday nights. The Arizona Celebration of Lights is every evening until Sunday, January 2, 2011 and is located at 99th Avenue and the Loop 101 (at Thomas Road), at the Phoenix Event Complex. Passenger vehicles are $15 and guests can receive a $2 discount per vehicle by donating three cans of food or a brand new, toy that is unwrapped. Other discounts are available for seniors, military, teachers, fire, and police personnel. Some of the proceeds for this event benefit charities at the local level.
