The Arizona Renaissance Festival is a medieval amusement park, a 12-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament and a feast all rolled into one non-stop, day-long adventure.
This year's AZ Renaissance Festival, runs every Saturday and Sunday, February 12, 2011 through April 3, 2011 including Presidents’ Day Monday February 21, 2011, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The Arizona Renaissance Festival, now in its 23rd year, features more than 2,000 brightly costumed actors, dancers, and musicians. The village has over 200 elaborately adorned shops offering an array of goods.
The Renaissance Festival experience is meeting and interacting with these colorful characters, shopping for arts and crafts, and taking in a selection of over 150 shows every event day.
There is a great variety of food for feasting, and a bevy of unique beverages. Oh and don't forget the best chocolate covered strawberries ever.
