The Professional Bull Riders are heading to Glendale, AZ

Saturday March 12, 2011 at 6:50 PM at the Jobing.com Arena  Fans will be able to experience two nights of 8-second rides and jaw-dropping wrecks as the Top 40 bull riders on the planet try to stay on animals 10 times their size.  This week’s bull pen in Glendale, Ariz., features three bulls at very different points in their careers. White Magic, who has had 111 outs, is the veteran of the group, while Bad Moon is coming into his own as a bucking bull, and 4-year-old Pure Smoke has shown a lot of  promise on the Built Ford Tough Series.

Each of the 40 riders will ride on Saturday and Sunday. Following Round 1 on Saturday, the riders with the 10 highest scores will each compete with one more bull. Following Round 3 on Sunday, the riders with the 10 highest cumulative scores will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round where they will compete with one more bull. The overall event winner will be the rider with the highest combined score from all four rounds.

Don’t miss this world-class production that is jam packed with thrills and spills, pyrotechnics, and rock & roll music as the superstars of the PBR are all riding to win the coveted event title. These top athletes are competing week in and week out; each striving for the $1,000,000 PBR World Championship title.

The PBR is the premiere bull riding organization in the world, boasting contestants from the United States, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Canada, Its events air weekly on VERSUS, NBC, CBS, and FOX and in recent years it has been tagged the ‘fastest growing sport in the country.
