With more than 500 species at Wildlife World, the young animals on display at the new Baby Animal Nursery changes from week to week and month to month. First time ever, two baby mountain lions will be on display at the Baby Animal Nursery now through Easter. These are the first mountain lions ever to be put on view at the zoo in its 26 years. Wildlife World Zoo has focused on featuring non-native exotic and endangered species from all over the globe. Given the elusive nature of these large predators and their importance to maintaining a healthy ecosystem, zoo officials wanted to bring the cubs to the zoo.
Other babies on display at the moment are two baby porcupines, a baby llama, a baby zebra, a baby antelope, Red River Hogs and a new Coatimundi.
Besides the babies, there are so many things to do and see at the zoo and aquarium. Plan to stay the day so you don't miss any of the fun.
The Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is located at 16501 W. Northern Ave., Litchfield Park, AZ 85340. They are open 365 days a year. Zoo exhibits are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aquarium exhibits are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
