Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park Phoenix, Arizona

Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park is the site of a 1,500 year-old Hohokam village ruin located just minutes away from Sky Harbor International Airport in metropolitan Phoenix. A National Historic Landmark and an Arizona Point of Pride, there's something for everyone to explore. 

An 800 year-old, Classic period, Hohokam Platform Mound ruin, excavated prehistoric ballcourt, two full-scale reproductions of prehistoric Hohokam dwellings, outdoor walking trail featuring native plants, Indoor exhibits geared towards all ages, picnic area and special programming, events, and lectures.

The site features three galleries, a theatre with an award winning introductory video and an outdoor interpretive trail.  The trail contains the prehistoric ruins of the platform mound and ballcourt of the Hohokam culture, replicated housing, canal systems and interpretive agricultural garden.

Closed Sundays and Mondays, May through September.
